BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. A total of 85,708 property rights were registered and formalized with official certificates in Azerbaijan during the first quarter of 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Service for Real Estate Affairs under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan indicates that of the registered property rights, 13,424 (15.7 percent) were initial registrations, while 72,284 (84.3 percent) were renewals or re-registrations.
Furthermore, property rights were registered across various types of real estate in the first quarter of 2025: 14,224 for private residences and summer houses, 19,200 for apartments, 49,386 for land plots, 709 for non-residential buildings, 1,991 for non-residential premises, 147 for property complexes, 48 for multi-story residential buildings, and 3 for perennial crops. Of the total registered property rights, 20,746 were in Baku, with the remainder distributed across other regions.
Furthermore, in this timeframe, a total of 60,412 technical passports were disseminated, alongside the registration of 14,444 mortgage agreements.
