BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 13. Condensate production from Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz field totaled around 1.3 million tons from January through April 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Ministry of Energy indicates that this figure is around 100,000 tons, or 7.1 percent, lower compared to the same period last year, when the output stood at about 1.4 million tons.
According to operational data from January through April of this year, 9.1 million tons of oil (together with condensate) were produced in the republic. Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field accounts for 5.3 million tons of production, Shah Deniz field - 1.3 million tons (condensate), Absheron field - 0.2 million tons (condensate). Oil production (together with condensate) by SOCAR amounted to 2.3 million tons.
This includes daily oil production (together with condensate) of 75,100 tons (566,000 barrels). Of these, 61,600 tons (455,000 barrels) were crude oil and 13,500 tons (111,000 barrels) were condensate.
