The income to the national budget of Kazakhstan amounted to 3.993 trillion tenge in the first four months of 2019, whereas the expenditures reached 4.128 trillion tenge, Trend reports via the press office of the prime minister of Kazakhstan.
As of May 1, 2019 budgetary surplus amounted to 316 billion tenge.
“The plan on the income of the national budget for the reporting period was exceeded by 103.9 percent, including the republic budget (by 100.9 percent) and the local budgets (by 113.5 percent),” stated Alikhan Smailov, first deputy Prime Minister, minister of Finance of Kazakhstan.
Some 2.127 billion tenge worth of income was received by the republican budget. This is 19 billion more than the plan envisaged and 345 billion tenge more than in first four months in 2018. The growth rate amounts to 119.4 percent. The higher income is related to non-tax payments (13 billion tenge).
“The local budget income amounted to 761 billion tenge which is 91 billion tenge more than the plan foresaw. Some 74 billion tenge of the surplus account for local tax. Some 97.8 percent of expenditures of the national budget are implemented, 98.3 of the republic budget and 98 percent of the local budgets,” the report said.
