BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. According to preliminary data, the nominal income of Azerbaijan's population from January through August 2024 increased by 6.1 percent, or 3 billion manat ($1.7 billion), compared to the same period of 2023 and reached 53.9 billion manat ($31.7 billion).
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that per capita income grew by 5.55 percent, or 278.3 manat ($163.7), in the mentioned period. The growth indicator of the population's income after payment of all mandatory and voluntary deductions amounted to 5.78 percent, or 2.5 billion manat ($1.4 billion), compared to the same period of 2023. At the same time, per capita income grew by 5.27 percent, or 233.2 manat ($137.1).

To note, the nominal income of the population of Azerbaijan in 2023 increased by 12.85 percent, or 8.8 billion manat ($5.1 billion), compared to 2022 and reached 78.05 billion manat ($45.9 billion).
The per capita income grew by 12.2 percent, or 835.9 manat ($491.7) in the mentioned period. The growth rate of personal income after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions amounted to 12.83 percent, or 7.8 billion manat, compared to the same period of 2022. At the same time, per capita income grew by 12.19 percent, or 741.8 manat ($436.3).
