The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Sept. 11:
Export floor: offers 36,660 tons of bitumen, insulation and sulphur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 50,597 tons of various polymers, 8,500 tons of bitumen, 150 tons of sulphur and 12,000 tons of vacuum bottom feedstock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 100,000 tons of slab type C, 70,000 tons of sponge iron, 25,000 tons of rebar basket and nine tons of precious metals concentrates as well as 10 kilograms of gold bullion.
Agriculture floor: Offers 11,200 tons of wheat and 430 tons of saffron.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 60 tons of polyester threads.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
