BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 1. Azerbaijan exported crude oil and crude oil products derived from bituminous rocks to the UK worth $137.3 million and totaling 244,000 tons from January through April 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee shows that this figure is $126.3 million or 12.5 times higher in value and 223,400 tons or 11.9 times higher in volume compared to the same period in 2024.
During this period, the UK ranked seventh among the top importers of Azerbaijani oil.
Overall, from January through April 2025, Azerbaijan exported crude oil and crude oil products derived from bituminous rocks worth $4.6 billion and totaling 8,200,000 tons to 17 countries.
