BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 10. Türkiye's furniture exports to Turkmenistan reached $49.3 million from January through November 2024, reflecting a 16.5 percent year-on-year increase, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
"In November 2024, furniture exports to Turkmenistan totaled $5.3 million, showing a slight decline of 1.1 percent compared to November 2023," the statement from the ministry reads.
Despite the rise in exports to Turkmenistan, Türkiye's overall furniture exports in January–November 2024 decreased by 1.6 percent, amounting to $7.86 billion. November exports also saw a 2.2 percent drop, reaching $671.6 million.
Over the 12-month period from November 2023 through November 2024, Türkiye exported furniture valued at $7.86 billion, highlighting the sector's resilience amid fluctuating market conditions.
