BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 16. Azerbaijan produced 169,200 tons of liquefied gas from January through September 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that this marks an increase of 11.8 percent, or 17,400 tons, compared to the same period last year (151,400 tons).
Meanwhile, finished product stocks stood at 2,300 tons as of October 1, 2025.
In the petroleum products sector, total output reached 4 billion manat ($2.3 billion), up 0.4 percent from the previous year. Fuel oil production more than doubled, petroleum coke rose by 8.5 percent, diesel (gasoil) increased by 6.2 percent, and kerosene grew by 5.3 percent. Meanwhile, production of bitumen declined by 9.9 percent, and lubricating oils fell sharply by 44.7 percent.
