BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 6. The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan has registered authorized representatives of the Umid Party, the Great Creation Party, the Democratic Reform Party, "Ana Vatan" (Motherland) Party, the Musavat Party and the Classical Popular Front Party for the upcoming parliamentary election, Trend reports.
The CEC meeting held today considered appeals of the above parties, along with New Azerbaijan Party, about the representatives' registration.
The issue was put up for voting and adopted.
Previously, CEC registered authorized representatives from the Republican Alternative Party (REAL), "Ag Partiya" (White Party) and the Civil Solidarity Party.
On June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the dissolution of the Azerbaijani Parliament of the sixth convocation and the appointment of an extraordinary election to the Azerbaijani Parliament.
The extraordinary election is scheduled for September 1, 2024.
