BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 19. The cost of goods sold and services rendered in Azerbaijan from January through October of the current year grew by 4.6 percent compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 60.4 billion manat ($35.5 billion).
Data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistical Committee indicate that the value of goods and services sold by entities in the non-governmental sector during the reporting period increased by 4.5 percent year on year, amounting to 58 billion manat ($34 billion), with 45.9 percent of this figure generated by private entrepreneurs.
Meanwhile, the average monthly nominal spending per consumer was 592.3 manat ($348.4), which is 31.6 manat ($18.6) more than the first 10 months of last year.
