Volume of trade operations between Azerbaijan and Russia announced

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 25. The volume of trade operations between Azerbaijan and Russia in the period from January through October of this year amounted to $3.9 billion.

The data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee shows that this is $499.4 million (14.5 percent) more than in the same period last year.

“During the reporting period, trade turnover with Russia amounted to 10.01 percent of Azerbaijan's total trade turnover.

Azerbaijan exported products worth $972.5 million to Russia in 10 months, which is 1.19 percent more than in the same period last year. During this period, Russia accounted for 4.28 percent of Azerbaijan's total exports.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijan increased imports of products from Russia by 19.6 percent year-on-year in the period from January through October of this year, bringing it to $2.9 billion. During this period, import operations with Russia amounted to 17.85 percent of the country's total imports,” the information notes.
