BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 29. A total of 90,700 tons of asphalt was produced from January through November 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that production of asphalt decreased by 14,100 tons, or 13.4 percent, compared to the same period of last year.
This indicator amounted to 104,800 tons in the period from January through November 2023.
Meanwhile, 4.6 million tons of concrete were produced in Azerbaijan during the first 11 months of the current year. This is 1 million tons, or 29.5 percent, more than in the same period last year.
To note, 3.5 million tons of concrete were produced in the country from January through November of last year.
