BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 18. The restoration of the historical and architectural monument, Sersheher Mosque, begins in Ordubad city of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Trend reports.
According to information, in addition to the mosque itself, the works will include the restoration of entrance arches to Sersheher Square and the improvement of the square.
The relevant works have already been completed at the Ministry of Culture of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The ministry entrusted the above works to Storm Building Limited Liability Company (LLC) and signed a contract with them.
Under the contract, 69,700 manats have been allocated to the company.
To note, the Sersheher Mosque dates back to the XVIII century. The two-storied mosque has a mihrab, wooden columns, a shake, and a square. It was restored and renovated in 1986. By the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on August 2, 2001, the mosque was included in the list of immovable historical and cultural monuments of local importance.

To note, Storm Building LLC, which will be engaged in the restoration and improvement of the historical and architectural monument, was registered in 2016. The legal representative of the company with the authorized capital of 100 manat ($58.8) is Asgharov Anar.
