BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. Azerbaijan produced 18,400 tons of asphalt from January through April 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that this marks a decrease of 10,900 tons, or 37.2 percent, compared to the same period of 2024.
Additionally, 1.4 million tons of concrete were produced during the same period, which is 171,600 tons less than the corresponding figure for last year, indicating a drop of 11.2 percent.
Meanwhile, the volume of finished products in the country stood at 5,600 tons as of May 1, 2025.
