ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 6. Global prices for precious metals showed notable fluctuations from June 30 to July 3, 2025, with gold and platinum leading the gains, Trend reports, citing the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
The price of gold climbed from $32,679,131 on June 30 to $33,404,558 by July 3, reflecting an increase of over $725,000 in just four days. After a slight dip on July 2, the metal resumed its upward trend.
Platinum prices also showed strong momentum, rising from $13,541,310 to $14,099,715, a gain of over $558,000. This marks one of the steepest week-on-week increases for the metal in recent months.
Meanwhile, silver remained relatively stable but edged up modestly from $358,725 to $367,749 over the same period.
In contrast, palladium experienced a slight decline, falling from $11,467,236 on June 30 to $11,437,321 on July 3, though it recovered from a sharper drop recorded mid-week.
Experts attribute these movements to market expectations around central bank decisions, investor sentiment, and broader geopolitical developments, which continue to impact commodity and precious metals markets globally.
