Some 7,000 metric tons of petrochemicals were traded at Anzali Free Zone commodity exchange during the past week.
Amin Ofoghi, Anzali Free Zone Organization's director for international affairs, said that 5,540 metric tons of urea, 1,250 metric tons of sulfuric acid, and 165 metric tons of diethanolamine were traded during the week, which ended on October 30, Iran's IRNA news agency reported on November 1.
Anzali Free Zone is located in the south of Caspian Sea and includes industrial, trade and commercial, tourism and services sections. Iran exports products via Anzali Free Zone to the Caspian Sea states, the Persian Gulf states, and Southeast Asian countries.
Iran exported 258,000 metric tons of goods, worth $142 million, from Anzali Free Zone during the Iranian calendar year of 1391 (ended March 20, 2013), some 95 percent more than in the previous year.
