Uzbekistan's Uzbekneftegaz JSC received an industrial gas inflow from well number 95 at South Kemachi field of Mubarek oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Trend reports citing the company.
As a result of overhaul performed at 2224 - 2230 meters, an industrial gas inflow with daily flow rate of 53,000 cubic meters and 1.5 tons of gas condensate was obtained.
The South Kemachi oil and gas condensate field is located in the Karaulbazar District of the Bukhara Region and was commissioned in 1978.
Earlier, it was reported on completion of perforation work at well number 142 at South Kemachi field of Mubarek oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC. Industrial gas inflow with daily flow rate of 52,000 cubic meters and 1.5 tons of gas condensate was obtained.
Uzbekneftegaz is a state-owned holding company and the largest state company in Uzbekistan. The company ranks 11th in the world's natural gas production.
At the beginning of 2020, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed Uzbekneftegaz to thoroughly analyze each field it is operating and ensure the increase in gas production.
