PremiumTOP 10 insurance companies of Azerbaijan in terms of fees

In January-July 2019, the fees of top ten insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to about 384.663 million manats (90.9 percent of the total amount of insurance fees).

During the reporting period, the ranking in terms of the volume of insurance premiums was led by PASHA Life insurance company, which accounted for 31.2 percent of the fees for the reporting period. The company collected fees in the amount of 131.978 million manats in January-July 2019.

PASHA Insurance company with a total amount of fees worth 96.468 million manats (about 31.2 percent of all fees) ranked second, while AzerInsurance ranked third with fees worth 38.777 million manats (9.2 percent).

In January-July 2019, insurance companies operating in Azerbaijan collected premiums worth 422.931 million manats (a decline of 8.7 percent for the year), payments for the same period amounted to 154.631 million manats (an increase of 5.98 percent for the year).

The results of the activity of insurance companies in January-July 2019 have been announced by the Azerbaijan Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).
