The monthly amount of mortgage loans issued through the state line increased by 4.2 percent or 40 million manat ($23.5 million) from May through June 2020, having surpassed 1.4 billion manat (over $0.8 billion), Trend reports citing the Azerbaijan Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund.
At the same time, the number of monthly mortgage loans issued via the state line increased by 868 operations over the two months, reaching 28,335 operations, said the report.
In the reporting period, the amount of guaranteed loans amounted to over 91.3 million manat ($53.7 million).
The Fund’s current loan in turnover is 800,644 manat ($470,967).
At present, mortgage loans in the amount of not higher than 150,000 manat ($88,235) are issued for a period of 25 years with a minimum advance payment of 15 percent, and preferential mortgage loans of not more than 100,000 manat ($58,823) with a minimum advance payment of 10 percent and a maximum of 30 years old.
