ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 12. Russian
President Vladimir Putin plans to visit Kazakhstan in 2026,
Trend reports via the
Kremlin.
The statement was delivered during a meeting between President
Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held in
Moscow.
“Vladimir Putin accepted Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s invitation to
pay a state visit to Kazakhstan next year,” the information
notes.
President Tokayev is undertaking a state visit to Russia from
November 11–12, 2025. The visit is anticipated to culminate in the
signing of several significant bilateral documents. As part of his
official agenda, Tokayev has held a meeting with Valentina
Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia. Prior
to the visit, Tokayev announced that a declaration is expected to
be signed between Kazakhstan and Russia, aimed at elevating
bilateral relations to the level of a comprehensive strategic
partnership and alliance.
