TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, February 27. Uzbekneftegaz (Uzbekistan's oil and gas company) is exploring opportunities to expand the production of import-substituting goods as part of its efforts to strengthen cooperation with local manufacturers and enhance domestic capabilities, Trend reports.

A recent meeting between the company’s leadership and the management of OIL TOOLS FACTORY LLC focused on the enterprise’s production potential and technological capabilities. The company showed specialists of Uzbekneftegaz an overview of the factory’s operations, which include advanced equipment for drilling tool repair and restoration.

In the course of the discussions, Uzbekneftegaz representatives outlined the company’s annual procurement needs and explored opportunities for localizing production.

Following the talks, OIL TOOLS FACTORY confirmed its readiness to provide services for the repair and restoration of various PDC drill bits for Uzbekneftegaz’s subsidiaries. This collaboration aims to reduce dependence on imports while supporting the development of domestic manufacturing.

The next step will be a site visit by Uzbekneftegaz specialists to assess production conditions and develop specific proposals for further cooperation.

OIL TOOLS FACTORY, located in Tashkent, is a modern service center equipped with high-tech turning, polishing, welding, and flaw detection machines.
