BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30. Non-oil product exports through the customs of Iran’s Markazi Province during the first three months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through June 21, 2025) amounted to 407,000 tons, valued at $274 million, the Director General of the provincial customs administration, Ruhollah Gholami, told reporters, Trend reports.
Gholami noted that during the three months, products were exported to 72 countries via the province’s customs, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Türkiye, Iraq, and Uzbekistan.
He added that during the same period, the province imported 56,000 tons of goods worth $270 million. Imports came from 34 countries, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), China, Türkiye, Germany, and Malaysia.
Iran's exports through Markazi Province customs reached $1.2 billion during the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025), and exports increased by 12 percent compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024).
