The West Azerbaijan Province regional Water authority, affiliated with Iran’s energy ministry intends to procure financing, design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning operation and transfer of Second Module and operation of First Module of Urmia Water Treatment Plant project through a B.O.T(Build-Operation-Transfer) contract and in the framework of guaranteed purchase of water through competitive bidding under the following conditions to the qualified investor.
Location of Project: Iran’s West Azerbaijan Province.
Production capacity: Average annual amount of produced treated water is 24.5 mcm for each module (extension of module No. 2 and existing module No. 1) totally 49 mcm.
Contract period is 23 years including construction period (three years for second module) and commercial operation period ( 20 years for second module and 23 years for the first module).
The investment cost: approximately 300 billion rials.
