BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 16. The total movable estate property sales in Iran have grown by 22 percent during eight months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through November 20, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through November 21, 2023), Abdulmajid Ejtehadi, the head of Iran’s Organization for Collection and Sale of State-owned Properties (OCSSPI), told reporters, Trend reports.
He said that this figure amounted to 71 trillion rials (about $133 million).
Etehadi pointed out that the movable property worth 50 trillion rials (roughly $93.7 million) has been sold since the current government came to power in August 2024.
The official also explained that the OCSSPI is responsible for various tasks related to movable property, including its decommissioning, return, and sale, depending on the condition of the assets. Over the past three years, it has assessed the status of movable property worth 1.1 quadrillion rials (around $2.06 billion).
