BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 22. Türkiye's automotive industry exports to Iran increased by 7.1 percent year-on-year to $44 million from January through March 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported $15.1 million worth of automobile industry products to Iran in March this year, which is 16.6 percent more than in March last year," the statement of the ministry noted.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's automobile industry exports rose 6.1 percent year-on-year to $9.1 billion from January through March 2024.
Türkiye exported $3.2 billion worth of automobile industry products in March this year, which is 1.8 percent less than in March last year.
To note, Türkiye has exported $35.5 billion worth of automotive products during the last 12 months (from March 2023 through March 2024).
