BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 15. Azerbaijan increased imports of electricity from January through April 2024 but reduced its exports, Trend reports, referring to the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.
Thus, from January through April 2024, imports amounted to 62.2 million kWh, up from 41.1 million kWh in the same period in 2023.
Moreover, exports totaled 407.0 million kWh, compared to 1.244 billion kWh from January through April 2023. Meanwhile, in April 2024, electricity imports totaled 17.9 million kWh and exports amounted to 48.5 million kWh.
