ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 11. Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Almassadam Satkaliyev, who is on a working visit to the US, met with the Vice Chairman of S&P Global Daniel Yergin, Trend reports.
The meeting took place ahead of the opening of the 2025 CERAWeek
International Energy Conference. During the meeting, Yergin
highlighted Kazakhstan's important role as one of the key players
in the global energy market and expressed confidence in further
strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and S&P
Global.
The sides discussed a wide range of issues regarding the current
state and prospects of the global energy market, as well as
Kazakhstan's role in ensuring energy security.
Almassadam Satkaliyev, in turn, asserted that Kazakhstan is committed to the principles of sustainable development and is actively working on diversifying its energy balance.
