BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17. Azerbaijan's automotive sector witnessed an influx of imports totaling $288.9 million during the initial bimonthly period of 2025, with a cumulative entry of 16,758 vehicles into the national market.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan indicates that the import valuation experienced an uptick of $41.3 million, translating to an approximate 17 percent escalation relative to the corresponding timeframe of the previous year, concurrently with an augmentation in import volume by 3,459 vehicles, signifying a 26 percent increase.
Throughout this timeframe, the nation engaged in the procurement of automotive conveyances engineered for the transportation of ten or more individuals, encompassing 106 units with a cumulative valuation of $8.9 million.
Moreover, an aggregate of 15,309 passenger automobiles and assorted motorized conveyances, with a cumulative valuation of $255.9 million, were imported into the nation.
