BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17. Azerbaijan produced 81.7 million manat ($47.9 million) worth of metal ores from January through February 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows thatthis figure increased by 57.2 million manat ($33.7 million) or 3.3 times compared to the same period last year (24.5 million manat or $14.4 million).
Azerbaijan produced 382.4 million manat ($224.5 million) worth of metal ores, which is 46.9 million manat decrease ($27.5 million) or 14 percent compared to the previous year (335.5 million manat or $197.7 million).
In the first two months of this year, Azerbaijan's mining industry produced 6.5 billion manat ($3.8 billion) worth of products, marking a 3.5 percent decrease compared to the previous year.
