ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 17. Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Saparov held a meeting with Abdelrahim Mohammad Al-Husseini, a representative of the Alhusaini Group of Companies, during which they discussed the implementation of an investment project to build a pedigree poultry breeding facility in Kazakhstan, Trend reports.
“The project you are presenting is of great importance for ensuring food security and for the overall development of the country’s agro-industrial complex. We are ready to provide comprehensive support for its implementation,” noted Saparov.
In turn, the investor shared plans to launch a high-tech enterprise with a capacity of up to 100 million hatching eggs per year. The Kazakhstani partner in the project will be the vertically integrated poultry meat production holding, Aitas KZ JSC.
The total investment volume will amount to $85 million. The project implementation will begin in 2025 and will be carried out in stages until 2029.
The primary market for the products will be Kazakhstan, with 30 percent of the output intended for export.
The Alhusaini Group owns Al Jazeera Agricultural Company and Al Sidra, which specialize in poultry meat production.
