BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 12. Azerbaijan's State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy collected nearly 6.92 billion manat ($4 billion) in tax revenues for the state budget from January through April 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Service indicates that tax revenues increased by 266.1 million manat ($156.5 million), or 4 percent, compared to the same period last year.
Tax revenues from the non-oil and gas sector exceeded 4.94 billion manat ($2.9 billion), showing an increase of 425.4 million manat ($250.2 million), or 9.4 percent, compared to the same period in 2024.
The data also noted that 71.5 percent of the paid taxes came from the non-oil and gas sector, while 28.5 percent came from the oil and gas sector.
