BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 12. Azerbaijan’s grain harvest is underway, with winter crops covering expansive farmland across the regions, the Ministry of Agriculture told Trend.
"This season, winter grains were sown on more than 932,000 hectares nationwide, including 505,696 hectares of wheat and nearly 426,623 hectares of barley.
Harvesting is currently taking place in 40 districts, with efforts largely focused on barley fields," the ministry said in a statement.
