ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 24. The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) has continued its session with a further range of high-value petrochemical products, Trend reports via the exchange.
Among the most notable consignments were 62,100 tons of high-grade urea from Turkmenhimiya SC valued at nearly $14.9 million, 9,180 tons of polypropylene TPP D 30 S priced at $9.18 million, and 2,280 tons of base oil SN-600 totaling $1.48 million. Other significant lots included 10,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas from Turkmengas SC at $3 million, alongside multiple additional LPG consignments ranging from 1,500 to 10,000 tons, each priced around $300 per ton.
The remaining lots comprised various base oils, polypropylene products, petrol, and liquefied petroleum gas, with individual consignments valued from hundreds of thousands to several million U.S. dollars. All products were offered under prepayment terms, with FCA or FOB delivery points across Turkmenistan, including international ports and specialized storage terminals.
SCRMET remains Turkmenistan’s primary platform for international commodity trading, providing a transparent and competitive environment for local producers and foreign buyers in petrochemicals, hydrocarbons, and related industrial products.
