Iran publishes six-month crude oil output report of South Zagros Oil & Gas Company

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 9. Iran's South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company’s crude oil output totaled 908,000 barrels in the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2023), Executive Director of the company Ali Montasari said, Trend reports.

The director general noted that on average, 5,000 barrels of crude oil were produced daily from 10 oil wells in the company's Sarvestan and Saadatabad oil fields for 6 months.

“In the second half of the current Iranian year (September 23, 2023 through March 19, 2024), the company’s crude oil production is expected to reach 5,600 barrels per day,” Montasari said.

The South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company (SZOGPC) is one of three subsidiaries of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC).

The SZOGPC currently has 9 gas fields - Aghar, Dalan, Nar, Kangan, Sarkhoon, Tabnak, Homa, Varavi, Shanol, and 2 oil fields - Saadatabad and Sarvestan under its management.
