BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 11. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transported 3.2 million tons of oil to its Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery from January through June 2024, which is 100,000 tons more than in the same period of 2023, Trend reports via the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy.
At the refinery, ten primary categories of oil products are produced.
The forecast for oil product production in 2024 is 5.84 million tons, including 2.41 million tons of diesel fuel.
The annual oil refining capacity at the refinery amounts to 6.5 million tons.
