The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Aug. 21:
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 96,491 tons of polymers, chemicals and vacuum bottom feed stock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 10,1000 tons of sponge iron, 70,000 tons of slab type C, 25,000 tons of iron beam, 34,020 tons of rebar and rebar basket as well as 116,700 tons of cold rolled sheet, 30,000 tons of bloom ingot as well as 10 kilogram of gold bullion.
Agriculture floor: Offers 14,000 tons of wheat, 350 tons of sugar and 100 tons of date as well as 6,000 kilograms of saffron.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 110 tons of metal scraps, 5,000 tons of liquid fertilizer, 200 tons of frozen meat, nine tons of used locomotive engine oil and 800 used barrels.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
