Iran's Arya Sasol Polymer company boosts its sales

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 26. The sales of Iran's Arya Sasol Polymer Company grew by 41 percent in value during the 10 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024 through January 19, 2025) compared to the same period of last year (from March 21, 2023 through January 20, 2024), Mohammad Reza Heydarzadeh, CEO of the company, told reporters, Trend reports.

He said that the company sold products worth 383 trillion rials (about $660 million) over the span of 10 months.

Heydarzadeh added that last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024), Arya Sasol Polymer Company sold products worth 338 trillion rials (nearly $582 million).

The company official pointed out that the company’s product exports were to 16 countries two years ago, and last year, the number of countries increased to 23. In the first eight months of this year (from March 21 through November 20, 2025), the company has exported products to 32 countries.

Heydarzadeh further added that the company is currently working on several projects planned to be operational in the coming years. The most important of these is the construction of a heavy polyethylene production plant, which is expected to be commissioned in August 2026.

To note, Arya Sasol Polymer Company was founded in 2001. The company has the capacity to churn out roughly two million tons of ethylene, polyethylene, and a variety of other petrochemical products each year.

Iran's annual output of polymeric materials stands at 13 million metric tons.
