BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 10. The count of passenger planes taking to the skies from Iranian airports saw a jump of 18 percent over the seven-month stretch of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2024) when stacked against the same timeframe last year (from March 21 through October 22, 2023).
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Airports Company shows that the number of flights organized through Iranian airports amounted to 19,501 during the seven months.
The statistics show that in the same period last year, the number of passenger airplanes flying through Iranian airports amounted to about 16,552.
