BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 24. Russian citizens have purchased 10,560 real estate properties in Türkiye from January through December 2023, which is 5,752 properties less than in the same period of 2022, Trend reports, referring to the General Directorate of the Land Registry and Cadastre of Türkiye.
According to the information, Russian citizens purchased 527 real estate properties in Türkiye in December last year, which is 1,876 properties less than in December 2022.
To note, a total of 138,577 apartments were purchased in Türkiye in December 2023, which is 33.4 percent less than in December 2022.
The information indicates that 1,225,926 apartments were purchased in Türkiye from January through December 2023.
"These figures are 17.5 percent lower than in the same period of 2022," the agency emphasized.
Foreign nationals bought 2,064 apartments in Türkiye in December 2023, down 67.7 percent compared to December 2022.
