BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 20. Russian citizens purchased 1,361 real estate objects in Türkiye from January through March 2024, which is 2,554 fewer objects than in the same period last year, Trend reports, referring to Türkiye's State Authority on Land Cadastre and Purchase and Sale.
According to the information, Russian citizens purchased 411 real estate objects in Türkiye in March this year, which is 764 fewer objects than in March 2023.
However, a total of 105,394 apartments were purchased in Türkiye in March 2024, which is 0.1 percent less than in March 2023.
Information shows that 279,604 apartments were purchased in Türkiye from January through March 2024.
"This is 1.3 percent lower than in the same period of 2023," the information reads.
Meanwhile, 778 apartments were sold to foreign nationals in Türkiye in March 2024, down 47.9 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
To note, foreign citizens purchased 5,685 apartments in Türkiye from January through March of the same year, which is 48 percent less than in the same period last year.
