BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 16. The export of cement products from Türkiye to Russia decreased by 15.5 percent from January through June 2024 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $40 million, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported cement products worth $7.2 million to Russia in June this year, which is 5.5 percent less than in June last year," the ministry statement reads.
Furthermore, Türkiye's exports of cement products to world markets from January through June 2024 decreased by 9.4 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $2.1 billion.
"Türkiye exported cement worth $336.5 million in June this year, which is 18.3 percent less than in June last year," the ministry statement said.
To note, Türkiye exported cement products worth $4.3 billion over the past 12 months (from June 2023 through June 2024).
