BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 20. A total of 184 companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in Türkiye in the period from January through November 2024, which is 60 companies less than the same period in 2023, Trend reports via the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB).
“If in the reporting period the total capital of Azerbaijani companies registered in Türkiye amounted to 315.3 million Turkish liras ($8.9 million), this figure amounted to 453.5 million Turkish liras ($12.8 million) in the same period of 2023,” the information notes.
The authority also noted that in the period from January through November 2024, the majority of Azerbaijani companies were registered in Istanbul (156).
“The total capital of Azerbaijani companies registered in Istanbul amounted to 127.5 million Turkish liras ($3.6 million),” the information adds.
The information shows that Türkiye registered 94 trading companies with Azerbaijani capital between January and November 2024. The rest of the companies cover other sectors of the economy.
