Azerbaijan’s Qala Insurance company has entered into a new corporate contract on comprehensive vehicle insurance, Trend reports referring to the company.
Qala Insurance company insured a car fleet owned by Agroleasing OJSC, and the amount of insurance premiums under the contract reached 8,679 manat ($5,105).
Agroleasing company was founded in 2004 in accordance with the president’s order. The authorized capital of the company belongs to the state. Its main activity is leasing operations in the agricultural sector. The company has 12 regional and 35 district branches.
In late January 2020, the company collected insurance premiums in the amount of 6.9 million manat (over $4 million) and paid insurance indemnities in the amount of 355 million manat ($208 million), ranking fourth among Azerbaijani insurance companies.
Today, 22 insurance companies and one reinsurance companies operate in Azerbaijan.
