BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 12. Türkiye's steel exports to Azerbaijan decreased by 21.6 percent from January through June 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, totaling $44.7 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
"Türkiye exported $5.3 million worth of steel products to Azerbaijan in June 2024, a 44.2 percent decrease compared to the same period last year," the ministry stated.
From January through June 2024, Türkiye's steel exports increased by 10.6 percent year-on-year, reaching $7.9 billion.
"Türkiye exported steel worth $1.3 billion in June this year, up 0.7 percent year-on-year," the ministry added.
The ministry also noted that Türkiye exported $15.6 billion worth of steel in the last 12 months (June 2023–June 2024).
