During the visit of Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, along with a delegation of ministers and heads of various Kazakh companies to Hungary, a meeting took place in Budapest between KazMunayGas Chairman Askhatt Khasenov and MOL Group CEO Jolt Ernadi. The parties deliberated on current bilateral cooperation issues and joint project implementation plans, specifically focusing on the advancement of the "Roshkovskoye" field.
In the first 10 months of the current year, the field, where KazMunayGas and MOL Group are partners, produced 222 million cubic meters of gas and 166 thousand tons of condensate. The companies are working on accelerating the development of the Phase-2 project, which will increase annual gas production to 700 million cubic meters and condensate production to 400 thousand tons.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen their strategic partnership in key areas, which will contribute to the development of the oil and gas industry in Kazakhstan as well as open new opportunities in international markets.
To exchange experiences and explore innovative technologies, the KMG delegation visited Mol Group Chemicals' production facilities and the MOL Polyol Complex plant in Tiszaújváros, which specializes in polyol production.
