BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. A total of 76,000 tons of asphalt was produced in the period from January through October this year, Trend reports via Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee.
In comparison to the corresponding period of the previous year, asphalt production rose by 7,300 tons, representing an increase of 10.6 percent.
This indicator amounted to 68,700 tons from January through October 2023.
At the same time, 4194.9 tons of concrete were produced in Azerbaijan during ten months of the current year. This is 1007.7 tons, or 31.6 percent more than in the same period last year.
About 3187.2 tons of concrete were produced in the country in the period from January through October of last year.
