Azerbaijan's AzerGold multiplies its export earnings in January 2025

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 1. The export revenues of Azerbaijan's AzerGold company amounted to $15.4 million in January 2025.

Data obtained by Trend from the "Export Review" for February released by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAREC) shows that this figure rose by a whopping $15.23 million (90.5 percent) from the same month last year when the export revenues of SOCAR Polymer amounted to $169.7 million.

To note, the list of state-owned companies participating in export operations in the non-oil sector in January 2025 was headed by SOCAR's Marketing and Economic Operations Department. Then the following companies were represented in this list: SOCAR Polymer LLC, AzerGold JSC, Azeraluminum LLC, Azerpambig Agrarian Industrial Complex LLC, Azerbaijan Airlines JSC, Azerenerji ATSC, Nakhchivan MR State Energy Service, Avia-Aggregate Plant LLC, Garadagh Glass Plant JSC.

The "AzerGold" Closed Joint-Stock Company was instituted in 2015 within the jurisdiction of Azerbaijan. The organization prioritizes the investigation, analysis, exploration, innovation, and oversight of both non-ferrous and ferrous mineral resource deposits. It also integrates cutting-edge technologies, optimizes its material and technical infrastructure for enhanced operational efficiency, and participates in a spectrum of ancillary activities within the sector.
