TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 30. The Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) hosted a meeting with a Moscow government delegation, led by Olga Vidyanova, Deputy Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, Trend reports, citing the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
In the course of the meeting, participants discussed the current status and future prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Special emphasis was placed on industrial collaboration, the localization of high-tech manufacturing, and the implementation of joint investment projects in sectors such as automotive production, electrical engineering, automation, and robotics.
Representatives from Moscow-based companies expressed a strong interest in establishing long-term partnerships with Uzbek enterprises. They also highlighted the significant potential for both parties to access third-country markets and engage in joint business missions.
Following the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation, enhancing direct dialogue between the business communities of both nations, and pursuing new, promising opportunities.
