BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 6. Azerbaijan produced pharmaceuticals with a total value of 3.39 million manat ($2 million) from January through March of this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee shows that pharmaceutical production increased by 106,000 manat ($62,500) or 3.2 percent compared to the same period last year (3.29 million manat or $1.94 million).
As of April 1 of this year, the country's stock of finished pharmaceuticals amounted to 705.8 million manat ($416.4 million).
In addition, during the mentioned period, 900,000 masks were produced in Azerbaijan. While this figure remains unchanged year-over-year, it represents an increase of 700,000 units or 4.5 times compared to two years ago.
