TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 6. In the first quarter of 2025, Uzbekistan imported 6,950 passenger cars, valued at $115.1 million.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's National Statistical Committee reflects the country’s continued demand for foreign-manufactured vehicles, with China maintaining its lead as the dominant exporter.
China was the largest supplier, accounting for 5,235 cars, followed by South Korea with 1,425 vehicles. Other countries contributed smaller volumes: India (144 cars), Japan (77 cars), the United States (18 cars), and a variety of other nations (51 cars).
Meanwhile, in 2024, Uzbekistan's total passenger car imports reached 74,700 units, worth $1.28 billion, including electric vehicles.
